A rebirth of health and fitness is yet to come

In the 80s and early 90s began the fitness madness. Everyone was walking, exercising, going to the gym and eating healthy foods. It was as if everyone had jumped into their New Year Resolution Team and they were out. And as a New Year's Resolution did not last, but continued for several years. After that, people went back to eating more, kicking, and did it, as if the fashion was over.

It seems that it returns every 5-10 years however and, therefore, it makes sense to be ready for the next revival of health and fitness. Which I guarantee you will come. And the sooner the better, since it could not come at a better time when gym memberships are low due to the recession and people are out of service due to turbulent times. Maybe you remember the fads of the diet that hit us all after 9-11.

South Beach Diet and Atkins appeared to kill the fast-food industry, and several chains closed. Gym memberships skyrocketed during this time, even if half of Americans were borderline diabetics. It seems that these revivals of health and fitness occur as the economy grows, people get better jobs and reach their peak in Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Then they are looking for enlightenment and personal updating.

I'm not sure why everyone waits until the good times to exercise, eat well or join a gym, but it's something I've been noticing for the past 30 years. Perhaps you will observe it during the next madness of fitness and healthy food? And judging from the predictions of economic recovery, I would give it between 12 and 15 months before the next revival. Please consider this.
